Word Up Welcome to my site and thanks for stopping by. Feel free to get comfortable and poke around. I write mainly lesbian fiction, so readers beware. If you have any questions of comments, I can be contacted at . 7-25-10 The time has gotten away from me. I find it hard to believe it's been seven or so weeks since the GCLS Convention. I'm happy to report I brought home not 1, but 2 goldies! It was an incredible evening that topped off a great conference.
5-4-2010 I've been shortlisted by GCLS in not one, but two categories: Traditional Romance and Debut Author. The winners will be announced June 5th at, not surprisingly, the Awards Ceremony. I'm deeply honored to go up against some very fine authors. And speaking of GCLS. It takes place June 3-7 in Orlando, Florida. This year it's in conjunction with Gay Days at Disney, so the town will be rocking with queer folk. I will be there. Bella Books is honoring all of their author's shortlisted with a sale. Check it out at www.bellabooks.com. 2-18-2010 I can't believe how long it's been since I've updated anything. Time is flying by too fast for me to keep up. I've recently returned from my first Bella Y-Tour. We spent a long weekend in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Friday night, Karin Kallmaker, KG McGregor, Katherine Forrest, Amy Dawson Robertson and myself set up a book table at a bar called New Moon. We did good business considering my ladies were there to drink and play pool. Saturday, we worked at the Stonewall Library and Archives, reshelving books, processing new books, cleaning up and landscaping. We returned Sunday and did a reading. I'm still working on the same novel I was trying to write in June. I've given myself a deadline of May to be finished. Wish me luck. 6-21-09 The summer is flying by too quickly for me to keep up. Womonwrites was a blast as usual. Five days of relaxing, talking to old friends, making new friends and hearing heartfelt readings reved me up again. To my amazement, I was talked into doing a reading, eventhough I didn't have anything worth reading. So in two hours I managed to write a five minute piece, that while it was unlike my usual fiction pieces, was well received. My next big thing is the GCLS conference in Orlando. The logo is awesome. Check it out in the Links section. If you see me there, please come up and say hello.

Latest Works:
Everything Keile Griffen ever loved was taken away, including her family. Surviving a youth in foster care has left her driven to succeed as an adult—and she has. A highly sought after planning consultant, she maps out solutions for other people, but never for herself. After Hayden Davenport’s partner walked out on her in the midst of planning their family, she decided to go it alone. It hasn’t been easy, and by closing her heart to romantic possibilities she’s been able to get by. When her missing son is found by a stranger at the park, she’s overwhelmingly grateful to the young woman. Her gratitude blossoms into something more, but her first impulse is to protect her child—and her battered heart. All Keile knows is on that fateful day in the park she fell for a pair of big, brown eyes. But if she wants a family she has to take a chance, a big one. She could win it all…or lose everything. Dillon Watson’s tale of unexpected love unfolds in the beautiful southeast, and introduces an insightful new storyteller who explores the passionate commitment that leads to love and family.
